I suppose if you don't learn calculus, and you don't have an intuition for it, you're condemned to analyzing the reality around you based on drama. And information that doesn't come heavily loaded with emotion becomes incomprehensible to you, or you're forced to project drama onto it in order to make sense of it. And sometimes, you can get it right. But most of the time, you'll simply make up stories that are absent from the actual information you've been given.
