I think investors committed too early on AI. We need something better than transformers. The amount of resources we've wasted scaling up something we haven't truly built yet—just so we don't lose the competition—is going to be the biggest blunder of our race. It will be such a blunder that our children may ban competition altogether. This is a huge amount of waste.
