As soon as you steal from the people you lead, you forfeit your position as a leader. You now have to reduce yourself to the mad pits and fight it out until a new leader has established himself. Unlike popular illusion, fights cannot be cheated. Cheating is simply a form of procrastination. You're postponing the fight to another time. If anything, it is a cowardly move. A man who is scared of fighting his battles condemns his children to do it for him.

One can only steal from one's peers. If you steal from those you claim to lead, you've reduced yourself to their peer. It is an invitation to fight.
